Steve Brown is the Associate Director of the Character Animation Program at California Institute of the Arts and a Visiting Professor at Beijing Film Academy. He has extensive experience in animation education, focusing on teaching character animation, storytelling, and animation directing techniques. His works have received numerous international awards, including Official Selection at Kuandu International Animation Festival, Official Selection at Los Angeles Asian Film Festival, Golden Dolphin Award at Xiamen International Animation Festival, Best Academic Animation Award at China International Cartoon Festival, and the Golden Dragon Award at China Animation Golden Dragon Awards. As an educator, he is dedicated to nurturing animation talents with innovative thinking and international perspectives, playing an important role in animation education exchange between China and the United States.
